Busted Apartment Window

The window to the apartment door entrance is busted. One of the kids or the adults who have recently been evicted has thrown a rock or large object through it. I moved here to get a sense of independence. All I have had is grief for the last 8 months. The lease will not be renewed. I would rather move back with my folks. This area is the so called "ghetto" which is to say that there is large population here who have no respect for themselves or the places where they live. I am off most of the week. I have plenty of wine to dull away the hours. Some people are always complaining about racism and some overwhelming conspiracy against them. From my observations, I can understand why people want to move as far away as possible from certain ethnic groups. It is an erroneous belief that certain people create or draw crime and ghetto environments around them but everyday here I see why this belief is so strong. Does this mean I am a racist? I want to move to Arlington, to some place where there is a mix of middle class people. This apartment complex sucks!
